Confirmation (Grade 9)  < Back

Confirmation program begins in the fall of freshman year. Each candidate must have completed 7 th & 8 th grade religious education classes. Teens will explore their faith; learn more about the church and the history of salvation. They will have the opportunity to celebrate the presence of God’s special strength, and gifts and develop a stronger relationship with Jesus. Confirmation class meets every Sunday during the school year from 6:30-8:00.

Guidelines
· All Candidates are expected to celebrate Mass weekly and attend all sessions of Confirmation class.
· Candidates are asked to thoughtfully select and engage in 6 hours of community service.
· Parents and Teens are required to attend the Confirmation retreat.
· Candidates must come prepared for confirmation class & are asked to complete all assigned tasks.
· Parents are required to participate in Parent information meetings.
· Sponsors must be practicing Catholics and at least 17 years old.
· Sponsors must provide “sponsor certificate” from their pastors.

Confirmation study includes those truths we believe as Catholics.

Youth Group (Grades 10-12)  < Back

Each week different topics are discussed in creative ways that meet the social, educational, & spiritual needs of the teens.

In additional to the weekly meetings, the teens have the opportunity to participate in a variety of other activities including service projects, retreats, trips, conferences, socials, and more.

Teen Mass  < Back

The Teen Mass is designed to meet the spiritual needs of teens, but is open to all ages. The teens are trained to as lectors, altar servers, greeters, gift bearers and musicians. The Mass is celebrated on Sundays at 5:30 pm during the school year.
